Abstract

Diels-Alder Cycloadditions of Masked o-Benzoquinones with Alkenes. -Diels-Alder cycloaddition of oxobutenylated orthoquinone monoketals, generated in situ, with olefinic dienophiles yields bicyclo[2.2.2]octenones with high regio-and stereoselectivity.
