Abstract:Bei der Nitrierung von 2,6‐Dimethyl‐neopentylbenzol (I) mit Salpetersäure und Essigsäureanhydrid in Nitromethan bei 20°C entsteht neben den normalen Kernnitrierungsprodukten in 4%iger Ausbeute das Dinitrocyclohexadienon (II).
