ChemInform Abstract: Highly Efficient Etherification and Oxidation of Aromatic Alcohols Using Supported and Unsupported Phosphorus Pentoxide as a Heterogeneous Reagent.
Abstract:Phosphorus Pentoxide as a Heterogeneous Reagent. -The etherification and oxidation of aromatic alcohols are studied extensively. Phosphorus pentoxide on alumina gives similar results as the silica-supported reagent. Finally, quantum-mechanical calculations are performed to rationalize the experimental findings. -(KHAZAEI*, A.; RAD, M. N. S.; BORAZJANI, M. K.; SAEDNIA, S.; BORAZJANI, M.
