Abstract: Während die direkte Photolyse des Pentenols (IIa) in Benzol oder tert.‐Butanol zum Tetrahydrofuran (I) führt, ergibt die durch Benzophenon sensibilisierte Reaktion die Produkte (III)‐(V), wobei das Keton (V) nur in Benzol auftritt.
