Abstract

Ionic Liquid and Lewis Acid Combination in the Synthesis of Novel (E)-1-(Benzylideneamino)-3-cyano-6-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-2-pyridones.-11 Pyridone derivatives of type (III) are prepared using triethylamine as catalyst and [bmim]BF4 as solvent.
