116ChemInform Abstract The title compounds (III) are synthesized by treating the sulfochloride (I) with the phenolates (II) or with the phenols (IV) in the presence of triethylamine. The alkaline hydrolysis of (III) gives the sulfonate (V). (1H-NMR-data, kinetics, mechanism).
