Abstract:. -The title compound is synthesized from an aqueous solution of hydrous titanium oxide and lithium hydroxide (autoclave, 180°C, 24 ) followed by calcination of the obtained powder at 400°C for 2 h in air. The samples are characterized by powder XRD, SEM, TEM, and cyclic voltammetry. The material exhibits high rate capability (119.7 mAh/g at 10 C) and good capacity retention of 113.8 mAh/g after 100 cycles at 5 C, and has promising applications as anode material for lithium ion batteries with high performance.… Show more
