Abstract: Magnetic properties D 9000Magnetic Behavior of Binary Intermetallic Compound YPd3. -The title compound, a possible hydrogen storage material, is characterized by powder XRD and magnetic and electrical resistivity measurements. YPd3 crystallizes in the cubic space group Pm3m in a well-defined ordered crystal lattice, free from any detectable impurity phase. It shows predominant diamagnetic behavior at high magnetic fields.
