Abstract: Microwave chemistry O 0170Microwave Reaction of Diazonium Salts with Nitriles. -Aryldiazonium tetrafluoroborates dissolved in nitriles are converted under microwave irradiation to the corresponding anilides in high to almost quantitative yields. When bromoacetonitrile (IV) is used, quinazoline derivative (V) is formed.
