Abstract:Novel Neurotrophic Phenylbutenoids from Indonesian Ginger Bangle, Zingiber purpureum. -Two new curcuminoids (I), and a new phenylbutenoid dimer (II) are isolated from Bangle (Zingiber purpureum). Compounds (I) promote neurite outgrowth of NGF-mediated PC12 cells.
