Abstract

Novel Preparation of 1,1-Dioxo-7α-methoxy-3-methyl-∆ 3 -cephem-4-yl Aryl Ketones. -In continuation of a research on 1,1-dioxycephem ketones as potential HLE inhibitors, an alternative strategy for the preparation of key intermediate ketones such as (VIII) is described.
