Abstract

Hydroxylation O 0216 Pd/C-Catalyzed Direct α-Oxygenation of 1,3-Dicarbonyl Compounds Using Molecular Oxygen. -Introduction of a hydroxyl group in the α-position of various β-dicarbonyl compounds and 2-methylindanone is successfully achieved under conditions A).
