Abstract: Bei der Umsetzung der ggf. substituierten Benzothiazole (I) mit Acetylendicarbonsäuredimethylester (II) erhält man in Wasser/Methanol als Lösungsmittel über diskutierte Zwischenstufen wie (III)‐(V) in hohen Ausbeuten die N‐Formyl‐benzothiazin‐Derivate (VI).
