Abstract

Silver, Zinc, Cadmium, and Mercury(II) Monothioarsenates.-The monothioarsenates Ag 3 AsO 3 S (III) and M 3 (AsO 3 S) 2 (V) (M: Zn, Cd, Hg) are synthesized for the first time by reaction of sodium monothioarsenate with aqueous solutions of appropriate metal salt. X-ray studies indicate that the obtained thioarsenates crystallize in the rhombic system. IR data and data on their thermolysis behavior are given. -(GIGAURI, R. D.; MACHKHOSHVILI, R.
