Abstract:Synthesis and Antipseudomonal Activity of Fluoroquinolonylpenicillin Derivatives.-With the aim to improve the potency of the original antibiotics a novel series of compounds such as (V) and (VII) are synthesized. Some derivatives are more active against Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains. Structure-activity relationships are discussed [some yields not given].
