Abstract

Synthesis and Biological Activity of Novel Thiazolidinediones. -A series of novel compounds which combine a thiazolidinedione pharmacophore of antidiabetic drugs and a methoxynaphthyl pharmacophore of antiinflammatory drug nabumetone such as (III)/(IV), (VI), (IX) and (X) are synthesized and evaluated for their biological activity.
