Abstract

Synthesis of (2S,3S)-3-Amino-2-phenylthietane.-With a view to preparing optically active 1,3-dithiols for the asymmetric synthesis of alkaloids the reaction between the ditosylate ( I) and Et-O-CS-SK is carried out.
