ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis of 4‐Nitrosopyrazoles from N‐Substituted N‐Nitrosohydrazines.

Abstract

ChemInform Abstract Reaction of the N-nitrosohydrazines (I) with acetylacetone (II) does not give the expected hydrazones but the 4-nitrosopyrazoles (III) are formed. These are also obtained from the hydrazines (IV) and the hydroximinoacetylacetone (V).
