Abstract: 4,6‐Dichlor‐S‐nitropyrimidin (I) wird mit Aminoacetaldehyddimethylacetal (II) zum 5‐Nitro‐4,6‐bis‐(β‐dimethoxyäthylamino)‐pyrimidin (III) umgesetzt und mit siedender Salzsäure zum Bis‐(imidazol‐2‐yl)‐nitromethan (IV) hydrolysiert.
