Abstract:Synthesis of Enol Carbonates from a Reaction of SilylEnolates with 1H-Imidazolylurethane.-Treatment of silyl enolates (II) or (IV) with 1-alkoxycarbonyl-1H-imidazoles (I) provides a good method for the preparation of enol carbonates (III) and (V). The reaction proceeds presumably via an imidazolium intermediate. -(OHTA, S.; YAMASHITA, M.; NAGAI, N.; KAWASAKI, I.; MAEDA, K.; MIYANO, Y.; Heterocycles 41 (1995) 8, 1683-1689; Pharm.
