Abstract: Das Tetrametliyl‐weinsäurediamid (I) reagiert als Thallium‐Salz mit dem aus Diethylenglykol über den Monobenzylether (IIa) erhaltenen Iodid (IIc) zu einem Bis‐ether (IIIa), der nach Deblockierung zu (IIIb) über Bromid und Halogenaustausch zum Iodid (IIId) führt.
