ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis of Novel Bidentate P‐Chiral Diaminophosphine Oxide Preligands: Application to Pd‐Catalyzed Asymmetric Allylic Substitution Reactions.

Abstract: Synthesis of Novel Bidentate P-Chiral Diaminophosphine Oxide Preligands: Application to Pd-Catalyzed Asymmetric Allylic Substitution Reactions. -A novel phenylalanine derived-bidentate chiral diaminophosphine oxide preligand DIAPHOX is developed and successfully applied to Pd-catalyzed asymmetric allylic alkylation and amination. Both enantiomers are accessible in a highly enantioselective manner using different P-configurations in the preligand. The synthetic pathway to these chiral preligands is also given.
