Abstract

Synthesis of α-Silylcarboxylic Acids. -The lithium enolate salt derived from silyl acetate (I) readily undergoes C-silylation to give the desired silylcarboxylic acids. The dianion of silylacetic acid (VI) is readily alkylated by alkyl halides to give branched α-silylcarboxylic acids. One example for a germylation is also given. -(SHTELMAN, A. V.; BECKER*, J.
