Abstract:The Mn(acac) 3 -RCN-CCl 4 System as a New Efficient Reagent for the Oxidation of Secondary Alcohols into Ketones. -Manganese compounds activated by nitriles efficiently catalyze the oxidation of various secondary alcohols into corresponding ketones in the presence of CCl 4 .
