Abstract: Die Photolyse des Tricyclooctadiens (I) wird in Gegenwart der isomeren Piperylene untersucht und hierbei wird aus der trans‐Verbindung (IV) neben dem über (II) gebildeten Dimeren (III) das Addukt (V) gebildet, während aus der cis‐Verbindung (VI) lediglich (III) entsteht.
