Abstract: Die Hochtemperaturreaktion von Isopropylphenol (I) mit Schwefelkohlenstoff (II) liefert neben Phenol (III) das Methylbenzofuran (IV), o‐Methyl‐ benzylalkohol (V) und (II) führen zu dem Benzodihydrothiophen (VI) neben Ben‐ zol (VII) und Toluol (VIII).
