Abstract: A series of novel polysubstituted 1,4‐dihydropyridines is synthesized via a one‐pot four‐component cyclocondensation reaction of aromatic aldehydes, malononitrile, acetylenedicarboxylates, and arylamines catalyzed by copper(I) iodide in aqueous medium under ultrasound irradiation.
