ChemInform Abstract: Ultrasound‐Promoted Synthesis of Indole‐Appended Heterocycles

Abstract: Ultrasound-assisted synthesis is a green synthetic approach used to accelerate the rate of reaction. This review provides a comprehensive survey relating to syntheses of indole coupled heterocycles with diverse pharmacological activities by ultrasound irradiation. This method is advantageous in simple operative procedures, improvement in the yield, easiness of the recovery of the product and solvent free reaction conditions.
