Abstract: Es wird eine zusammenfassende Übersicht über die vielfältigen chemischen Reaktionen dargestellt, die sich bei den Umsetzungen ungesättigter Zucker mit verschiedenartigen Reaktionspartnern ergeben und die zahlreiche interessante Synthesewege für Derivatisierungen ermöglichen.
