Abstract:The essential oils from five plants, Mentha spicata, Ocimum basilicum, Cymbopogon schoenanthus, Juniperus phonicea and Matricaria chamomilla were obtained by hydrodistillation and their chemical composition was identified based on spectral analysis of chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
