Chemoselective derivatisation and ultrahigh resolution mass spectrometry for the determination of hydroxyl functional groups within complex bio-oils

Abstract: Mass spectrometry in combination with a targeted derivatisation can be used for profiling molecular compositions containing hydroxyl groups in bio-oils.
