Abstract:Chestnut shell‐like hollow spheres of C/Co3O4 nanoparticles was prepared through hydrothermal method, and occupied as adsorbent for the treatment of toxic dyes in wastewater. The obtained material was analyzed by XRD, SEM, TEM, XPS, and BET, the resultant R‐Co3O4/C hybrid hollow spheres were of hollow structure and performed excellent in the adsorption of Congo red (CR).
