Abstract:Plant extract-mediated fabrication of metal nanocomposites is used in cell proliferation inhibition and topical wound treatment, demonstrating significant effectiveness. Salvia hispanica L. (chia) seed extract (CE) is used as the reaction medium for the green fabrication of ecofriendly ZnO(CE) nanoparticles (NPs) and Ag/Ag2O(CE) and ZnO/Ag/Ag2O(CE) nanocomposites. The resultant nanoparticles and nanocomposite materials were characterized using UV–visible, Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, scannin… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
