“…Amongst them, the Child Perceptions Questionnaire [ 31 ] has been widely tested and validated [ 20 , 36 ] and has already been used in the orthodontic field [ 13 , 14 ]. Different language versions exist, making the questionnaire a promising tool for international collaboration [ 25 , 37 , 38 ]. Other validated instruments are the Pediatric Oral Health-Related Quality of Life (POQL) [ 34 ], Early Childhood Oral Health Impact Score (ECOHIS) [ 35 ], Child Oral Impacts on Daily Performances (Child-OIDP) [ 33 ], and the Child Oral Health Impact Profile (COHIP) [ 32 ].…”

“…The CPQ-Esp 11–14 has a Likert scale structure, and the answer options are: “0 = Never”, “1 = Once/Twice”, “2 = Sometimes”, “3 = Often”, and “4 = Every Day/Almost Every Day” [ 28 ]. Higher scores indicate a worse OHRQoL [ 36 ]. Two short versions of CPQ-Esp 11–14 have been developed: an 8-question version and a 16-question version [ 37 ].…”
