Abstract:Childhood immunization has contributed significantly to child survival globally. Ghana adopted the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) in the year 1972, and since then Ghana's immunization program has chalked huge successes in disease prevention, particularly the drastic reduction in the incidence of the six childhood killer diseases.
