“…The reaction 93 Nb + nat Mg was measured during a campaign of experiments for which INDRA was coupled to the CHIMERA ( [25] - [27]) first ring, which covered the angular range from 1 • to 3 • , and some INDRA modules in the horizontal plane were replaced by silicon strip detectors. However, for the present reaction study, none of these additional detectors were used.…”

“…In order both to improve the LCP-Id and to simplify the electronic chain of multidetector telescopes, we have carried out some tests using commercial sampling analog-to-digital converter modules to perform real-time digital pulse-shape analysis of the signals coming from a standard detection cell of a CHIMERA (Charged Heavy Ion Mass and Energy Resolving Array) multidetector [1], [2], (i.e., a telescope of a 300 m silicon detector and a cm CsI(Tl) scintillator coupled to a photodiode). First, we have performed the on-beam and on-line LCP-Id for the CsI(Tl), by using only the standard electronic chain for measuring slow components with CHIMERA, with the charge-todigital converter (QDC) replaced by the sampling analog-todigital converter.…”
