“…Although individual characteristics such as education level and professional experience, which are classified as human capital, and sociodemographic characteristics have been examined mostly through objective careers, it was assumed that they are still important in today's career understanding, which emphasizes individual perception, and would affect SCS among nurses. Studies of work environment have also assumed that not only organizational factors such as allocation of resources (e.g., procedural justice, Ngo & Li, 2015) and competitive climate (Spurk, Keller, et al, 2019), but also nurses' working characteristics (e.g., working in public institutions, Al-Hussami et al, 2018) and NWE (Wang et al, 2019) would affect SCS among nurses.
