Abstract:DNA-immobilized silica gel TLC plate (DNA-TLC plate) by coating a mixture of double-stranded DNA and silica gel on a glass plate was stable in common organic solvents, such as alcohol, acetone, chloroform, and ethyl acetate. DNA-TLC plate showed different R f values for the L-and D-form acidic amino acids, such as aspartic acid and glutamic acid. The chiral recognition of an acidic amino acid by the DNA-TLC was related to the interaction between the nucleic acid base, particularly guanine (G) and cytosine (C),… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
