Chiral Recognition by DNA-Immobilized TLC Plate

Abstract: DNA-immobilized silica gel TLC plate (DNA-TLC plate) by coating a mixture of double-stranded DNA and silica gel on a glass plate was stable in common organic solvents, such as alcohol, acetone, chloroform, and ethyl acetate. DNA-TLC plate showed different R f values for the L-and D-form acidic amino acids, such as aspartic acid and glutamic acid.
