Chitosan–glycolic acid: a possible matrix for progesterone delivery into skin

Abstract: Chitosan-glycolic acid can be recommended as a suitable polymer for hydrogels and an adhesive matrix for a transdermal application of progesterone exhibiting excellent skin adhesiveness and permeation properties.
