“…The Edinburgh geographer Liz Bondi (1988) had begun to revive a more explicitly geographical contribution to the study of education by co-editing and contributing to the first book to have the 'geography of education' in its title and containing a wider range of issues: from school reorganisation; to parental choice in two Scottish cities compared; to catchment and neighbourhood issues and disparities in attainment within cities.
