Abstract

THE paper by Berman et al. (1957) on this topic presents some useful equations for dosimetry in radioisotope t,herapy, but we feel that in the particular applicat'ion of these equations to the choice of an isotope for the treatment of carcinoma of the thyroid, additional consideration should be given to t'he irregular dist,ribution of radioactivit'y in the tumour.
