Choices on museum attendance: An agent‐based approach

Abstract: Recent pieces of evidence suggest that enlarging the possibility of free attendance at museums can lead to an increase not only in the number of free visits, but also in charged ones. This is the case of Taiwan, where the introduction of universal free-entry for public museums in Taipei has also incremented charged attendance at private museums (Chen, Chen, & Tsai, 2016); this is also the case
