Choledochoduodenostomy – A Follow-Up Study of 61 Cases

Abstract: A 10-year follow-up study of 61 cases of choledochoduodenostomy for benign biliary tract disease is presented. Twenty-three percent of the patients had previously had a cholecystectomy. The operative mortality and complications rates were found to be within the range of the results after simple cholecystectomy with exploration of the common bile duct.
