Cholera vaccine and mass gatherings: protecting the crowds

Abstract

Teaser section. With the ongoing outbreaks of cholera in many countries globally, the risk to MG events cannot be overlooked. Cholera vaccine should be a tool used to vaccinate high-risk populations in countries where cholera epidemics continue, but the shortage of vaccines precludes its use emphasizing the need for increasing vaccine supplies.
