Cholinergic modulation of GH secretion in acromegalic patients before and after pituitary surgery

Abstract: on GH secretion. Pirenzepine (Pz), an antagonist of muscarinic receptors, by enhancing hypothalamic somatostatin release, inhibits stimulated GH secretion in normal subjects but not in acromegalic patients.
