One of the main research interests of modern folklore science concerns data related to social, economic, political and cultural contexts of each group whose members maintain a sense of community. Music has always provided such groups with a means of expression, collectivities but also of communication between artists and the public, as the songs' lyrics depict social realities and representations. Low bap emerged from Hip hop music. These two kinds of music, exhibiting several similarities and differences, have not been yet analyzed and studied from a folkloristic point of view. Its impact on Greek music scene in general can be seen through songs written especially about this murder and captured on social media. The purpose of our study is the research and analysis of these songs' lyrics, as well as the audience's responses to them. Furthermore, this collective way of responding to a certain event seems to signify another case of a group, a folk one in essence, to express itself, but also to demonstrate its members' common traits, in a digital, folk again, environment
