Chromatin structure and the state of human organism

Abstract: The state of chromatin in human buccal epithelium cell nuclei upon the influence of sport trainings was investigated. Chromatin state was evaluated in interphase buccal cell nuclei after orcein staining. The heterochromatin granule quantity (HGQ) was estimated in 30 nuclei per sample, and for every donor the mean HGQ value per 30 cells was determined. Donors of masculine sex, aged from 18 to 48 years performed training walks and samples of buccal epithelium were collected. Sportive charges induced the process … Show more

“…Although many specific regulatory programs involve targeted alterations in chromatin structure (e.g., Sirtuins and the dietary restriction response) heterochromatin granules in human buccal epithelium showed a circadian rhythm with greater condensation at night and less in morning (following antioxidant recharging?). Physical activity caused condensation, likely mediated by catecholamines and cortisol [245].…”

“…Highly significant presence of cysteine suggests its role as a critical residue for SVMPs activity and thus these SVMPs may be investigated for possible role in diseased conditions. Further analysis of the amino acid composition can help to place amino acid presence at remarkable level and be correlated with precise pathological conditions (Shckorbatov et al, 2008). Other physico-chemical parameters also signify the behavior of SVMPs in different conditions (Table 3).…”

“…The investigation on the cellular level of the mechanisms of damaging factors influence may elucidate the mechanisms of stress factors influence on the whole organism [2]. For this reason, developments of new methods of the investigation of the functional state of cells are very urgent.…”
