Abstract:The bioluminescent symbiosis between the sea urchin cardinalfish Siphamia tubifer (Kurtiformes: Apogonidae) and the luminous bacterium Photobacterium mandapamensis is an emerging vertebrate-bacteria model for the study of microbial symbiosis.
