“…Our results indicate significant differences of Y size between prison and control populations, but they do not resolve the question of whether the long Y carriers are more prone to criminal activity. The results of different authors seem to suggest that many minor heterochromatic chromosomal variants in man are associated with increased risk for the carriers (reviewed by Soudek 1973, 1974, Christensen & Nielsen 1974: they can no longer be termed "normal variants". It is equally feasible that accessory heterochromatin in the long arm of the Y chromosome could increase the risk of antisocial activity.…”
