Cigarette Smoking Accelerates Carotid Artery Intimal Hyperplasia in a Dose-Dependent Manner

Abstract: High-dose cigarette smoke accelerates development of intimal hyperplasia and may pose a significant risk factor in developing carotid restenosis.
